IHP expandable split heaters are the perfect solution for easy removal of the bore and oversized drills. Examples of industrial application are tool heating, solid body heating, casting, melting, curing, soldering and different types of high temperature usage.
They fit well in applications where removal of a cartridge heater can end in a problem or expansion of the diameter is needed when heating. The expandable split heater solves the problem with a larger mounting hole, than the usual tolerance can accept.
More Ni/Cr 80/20 heating wire reduces fatigue and will end in a uniform heating through the whole perimeter, resulting in a longer life expectancy. It will also reduce cold areas and avoid temperature differences. Leads and terminations are prepared for high temperatures.
