Industrial high temperature heating mats 450°C and 900°C heat pipes and surfaces. These heating mats are used for example in the extraction of metal from batteries, annealing, metallurgy, glass industry and other high temperature industries.
IHPs high temperature heating mats 450°C and 900°C are available in standard range, but can also be manufactured according to customer specifications. These models have a surface layer of glass fiber fabric or high-quality quartz fiber fabric. The heating mats are very flexible and can be fixed with eyelets (or laces) as a mounting aid. The final installation is done with textile glass tapes and the application of the thermal insulation.
The heating blankets are supplied as standard with a thermocouple K in the center of the mat. The thermocouple can be connected to the IHP standard control cabinets, which also contains extra functionalities such as ramping function.
Please note that the heating mat is only permitted to operate controlled temperature and with a differential circuit breaker RCD (Residual Current protective Device). All electrical conductive materials that come into contact with the heating must be included in the protective earthing.
Note that the heating mat may not overlap at any point in order to avoid unacceptable temperatures at certain points, which could cause damage to the heater or the heated part.
