IHPs ceramic IR heaters are a cost- and time-efficient way to heat delimited surfaces by directed infrared radiation. As the infrared radiation is suitable for intermittent spot heating of large and small surfaces, it is excellent in industrial curing processes and in the packaging industry. More areas of application for IR elements are sterilization of medical products, heating zones in animal husbandry such as breeding and terrariums. Ceramic IR heaters work in vacuum as well as air environments.
Our IR elements are made of ceramic material that is cast around heating coils and produce long and medium infrared radiation. The maximum working temperature and power that can be achieved is 700°C and 6,4W/cm².
IHP offers a standard range with four different designs of elements; Flat, Curved, Insulated and Lamps (E27 socket). These can be built together into customized heating panels that provide a larger heating area than a single element. Together with a customized control and powering cabinet, the customer has a competent control system that is completely adapted to the ceramic IR elements and heating process.
Options
As an option, IHP offers ceramic beads that provide extra heat resistance for the electrical conductors. The flat, curved and insulated IR elements can be ordered with built-in TC K for temperature control.
